Umbrellas, red scarves, old brick buildings, and an adorable couple in love…

What more could you want? Mike & Kelsey lucked out with weather for their January urban engagement session! The weather was very unusually warm for Ohio, and the rainy, gray day gave us an excuse to use an umbrella as a prop! We shot all over downtown Newark, and had a great time with these two and Kelsey’s parents who came along for the fun! We were able to stick to grays, tans and reds in the background to coordinate well with their outfits.

Mike & Kelsey had a spring wedding at the Barn at the Backwoods in Thornville, Ohio which we had the privilege of photographing! They used their engagement album as a guest book for their wedding, and our modular Loft Line framed prints to decorate their home with their engagement portraits.
