Extended Family Portrait – A Wooded Setting for 3 Generations

Planning an Extended family portrait session

Getting everyone together for an extended family portrait is non an easy feat! The hardest part is finding a time that suits each family, then you have to make sure everyone coordinates, and find a location that suits that amount of people. While we can’t do much about arranging schedules, we can help you out with the other two aspects! This beautiful family chose their color scheme from one of our ready to go Color Palette suggestions, and sent it to everyone in the group beforehand. Since we’ve photographed them before, they were pros at choosing a palette that would blend into their home. When we scouted the area around their home, we felt like this peaceful wooded setting would be the perfect background for their chosen color scheme!

They chose to display their portraits as a canvas grouping, with a large canvas of the whole group in the center, and smaller canvases of each smaller family around.

If you’d like to see how the Radabaugh family has grown, check out their last extended family portrait session with us.
